Jan S. Neiman is a graduate of The Ohio State University (B.S. 1971 with honors; J.D. 1974 cum laude), and New York University (LL.M (taxation) 1977). Mr. Neiman has received the AV rating from Martindale Hubbell.
Mr. Neiman has been a member of the firm since its founding in 1980. Prior to entering private law practice in 1980, Mr. Neiman served as a Senior Trial Attorney with the Internal Revenue Service Office of District Counsel. Mr. Neiman devotes his practice time to representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service; tax, business and estate planning, including representation in connection with the sale and purchase of businesses; and asset protection.
Mr. Neiman is a member of the Tax Section of the Florida Bar where he has served on numerous committees and is co-chairman of the South Florida Tax Litigation Association. Mr. Neiman has been a speaker at various continuing legal education seminars lecturing on topics including representation before the Internal Revenue Service and substantive tax issues.
