Representing clients before the Internal Revenue Service requires a unique blend of knowledge of the substantive and procedural tax laws and practical experience.  The attorneys at Lamont Neiman & Interian, P.A. have that knowledge and experience in representing clients before the Internal Revenue.  Two of our attorneys (Robert S. Lamont and Jan S. Neiman) served as senior trial attorneys for the Internal Revenue Service prior to entering private law practice.

The attorneys of Lamont Neiman and Interian, P.A. will appear before the Internal Revenue Service or applicable court and aggressively represent the client’s position, thus relieving the client from that burden.

Our Internal Revenue Service representation includes representation of individual and business clients before the Examination Division in connection with tax audits and refund claims, the Collection Division in connection with resolving client’s tax liabilities through installment agreements and offers in compromise, and the Criminal Investigation Division in connection with the investigation of tax crimes.

Our Internal Revenue Service representation also includes representation of clients before the Internal Revenue Service Appeals Division in connection with the administrative appeal of liabilities proposed by the Examination Division and the appeal of collection action taken or proposed by the Collection Division.

The attorneys of Lamont Neiman & Interian, P.A. also represent clients in tax litigation in the United States Tax Court and the other federal courts.
